Expeditionary Water Purification System

English

The CAVE Systems Rapid Deployment Expeditionary Water Purification System is a lightweight, compact and rapidly deployable expeditionary system that provides a continuous high volume supply of drinking water. It requires no external power for the purification process. The entire system can be deployed inside one-half of a Tricon container. The basic system can purify from almost any non-saline water source: river water; lake water; canals; agricultural run-off; drainage ditches; pond water; bore holes; storm water; etc. The system purifies down to one micron and destroys parasites and viruses that spawn in warm areas or infected water. The system removes heavy metals in precipitate form such as Arsenic, Mercury, Iron and Manganese. Each unit can purify enough drinking water for up to 2,000 people per day. The System, depending on the water source, can process up to 264 gallons an hour providing over 6,300 gallons a day. It can produce over one million gallons of drinking water for less than $300 per year. The system is in use in in Africa, the Middle East, and Afghanistan. A demo unit is available.
