The talk on STAR-TIDES from FAHUM <Google Video>

Here's the talk on STAR-TIDES from FAHUM. There's a lot of
background noise to the 24 minute mark, after that it clears right up.
It's the best explanation on tape of the distributed infrastructure
system, the rationale for using the Hexayurt as a way of converting
materials in the supply chain into shelter, and the organizational
strategy behind STAR-TIDES that I'm currently aware of. Nice work, Lin!

The video quality on this link is lower than it should be, not because we
don't have good quality footage, but because (for whatever reason)
Google Video mangled the high quality version, but accepted the lower
quality version. It looks much better if you keep the window size down
to about 4" x 3".

Thanks to Paul Bartone for shooting the video on the Xacti - this
really made bringing the camera to FAHUM worthwhile - and to Gregg and
the crew from ALLIES for coming down!
