AFCEA Joint Warfighting: Day 2 + 3

Last week we wrapped up the Joint Warfighting show in Virginia Beach. We had a lot of fun and we made a lot of great contacts. Here's an overview of the last two days.

May 12: Dr. Wells served as the moderator for the panel "What Needs to be Done to Make the Interagency Pieces Work?", panelists included Ori Brafman, Co-Author, The Starfish and the Spider: The Unstoppable Power of Leaderless Organizations.

May 13: On the last day of the show, Gen Mattis, Commander, U.S. Joint Forces Command (USJFCOM), stopped by our booth to discuss information sharing and equipment for disaster relief. It was an honor to have him inside of our booth.

AFCEA Joint Warfighting: Day 1

Today was the first day of the AFCEA Joint Warfighting Conference at the Virginia Beach Convention Center. The TIDES booth looked great and we had hundreds of people stop by and visit us. During the kickoff address LTG Michael L. Oates talked about the importance of information sharing and rapid fielding. Later, during the luncheon address, ADM John C. Harvey, Jr., USN, talked about the uncertainty of change and the need to be flexible to any contingency system.
